LARAMIE, Wyo. (August 25, 2021) – With the 2021-22 school year starting soon, Albany County School District #1 and Albany County Public Health,have teamed up to offer vaccinations at Laramie High School’s and Laramie Middle School’s back-to-school events.
Albany County Public Health will offer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations at both events to anyone over the age of 12, free of charge. Anyone who is under the age of 18 will need a parent or legal guardian present to consent.
Albany County Public Health will be at LHS on Thursday, Aug. 26 from 6-7:30 p.m. for its Open House Night. The location is still to be determined, but signage will be posted to direct people to the vaccination site.
Then, Albany County Public Health will be at LMS on Tuesday, Aug. 31 from 4:30-5:30 in the cafeteria for its Back to School Night.
